About the Authors

We asked Puck and Violet Lemay to send us their photographs to place here. Instead, they sent us this doodle of them in a cable car. Maybe this means that they are busy in town searching for more amazing doodles. We do know that lately they have been really active creating books. Puck is a children’s book author, and Violet Lemay is an award-wining illustrator. He writes the words, and she draws the pictures. Doodle San Francisco is their fifth book together. They have also teamed up on Doodle New York, My Foodie ABC, My Foodie ABC Placemats, and New York Baby (A Local Baby Book).
Now, when you think about it, they may be on the lookout for a good bowl of clam chowder.
